Situationship: a relationship that lacks a clear definition or commitment, often characterized by mixed signals and uncertainty.

No cap: an expression used to indicate that someone is being truthful or honest. It is the opposite of “capping,” which means lying or exaggerating

Karen: a term used to describe an entitled, demanding, or rude person, typically a middle-aged white woman. It is often used to mock or criticize such behavior.

It’s giving: can be used as a way to compare someone or something to another person or thing, or to positively describe the overall vibe of a person or thing.

Slay: describes something impressive — or, more generally, something positive — and can be used as a noun or an expression of admiration.

Era: follows its typical meaning, but it is accompanied by a word or phrase that describes an activity or event by which the period was defined.

Lit: is an adjective either used to describe a fun, high-energy situation, or someone who is intoxicated.

To ghost someone: is to stop replying to their texts or calls, often without explanation.

Rizz: person with rizz a term derived from “charisma,” is charming and puts themselves out there. The term is often used when referring to someone who can confidently and successfully pursue a potential romantic partner.

Main character: to act like a “main character” is to behave in a self-indulgent or self-absorbed manner.

W: is often used as a short form of “win”. If someone has “W rizz”, it means they have successfully gained the attention or interest of their romantic or sexual interest.

Sleeper Build is a weightlifting and bodybuilding slang term that means looking weak, skinny or physically inexperienced yet being jacked, strong and muscular upon further examination or after the flexing of one’s bicep.
Beige flag: used to describe a quirk or habit that is not necessarily a deal-breaker, but is also not necessarily a plus. It is often used in the context of dating, but can also be applied to other relationships.
The term “beige flag” was first coined by TikTok user Caitlin MacPhail in 2022. MacPhail defined a beige flag as “something that’s neither good nor bad but makes you pause for a minute when you notice it and then just continue on. Something odd.”
